Question new ryzen 3000

How does everyone have the patients to wait for the new ryzen cpu's not once have i seen a complaint posted on the wait time.... I want to get the new ryzen 12core 14thread cpu.... However if it take much longer i will need to get intel's i9 9900k... Or something equivalent in power im doing a i9 9900k build in memory of a passing friend base off of the components we had selected to begin with, i9 9900k, deepcool matrexx 70, evga 1000w psu gold branded, his old system's drives- ssd-hdd-blu_ray,his old rgb kit, cooler kit, and his ddr4 64gb rgb kit.... However this build wont really ever get used that much aside for 3d projects......... But anyway back to whining, i dont wanna wait till july 7 for a upgraded system i wanna upgrade now... I got a check this morning saying i was owed more money for my tax return.... And my currwnt build is showing it's age... I just want the new cpu already the second it's for sale i'm ordering it right away and the a whole system to go with it

I have criticism of the release date. Not that I can't wait, but because Intel will be that much closer to releasing their next line, which boasts 18% increase in IPC over Coffee Lake. I think it's bad strategy. I'm certain Intel is and has been sand-bagging for years. I'm glad AMD is catching up, but Intel just allows them to appear to be catching all the way up. Meanwhile, Intel already knows exactly how much better their next line of mainstream CPUs will be, they are simply waiting until the right moment to release them so they can continue to milk 8th and 9th-gen.

That new architecture has only been announced for low power mobile parts, which are running at enough of a frequency deficit (at least for currently announced chips) compared to past gen parts that the IPC gains are basically negated. I don't think the high power/desktop parts based on that architecture are expected until 2021 or later. The next line of high power mobile and desktop chips appear to be another Skylake/14nm++++ refresh with slightly higher clock speeds and/or core counts. And even those aren't supposed to launch until 2020.

I agree from my understanding from what intel has been saying there bext upgrade mainly focuses around there mobile platforms, if there mobile launch goes as expected the more powerful desktop chips will get launched after final evaluations of it's performance and durability in 2021

I am also looking forward to the 3rd generation Ryzen. I will be upgrading from a 2500k so I'm sure it will be much wow. The way I spend the time is by learning what the technology is in the CPU and motherboard to ensure I do the upgrade the best way. It is also useful and time-consuming to sort the neglected folders on my disks and delete unnecessary stuff (SpaceSniffer is useful for this).

I will be upgrading from a fx-8350... With a rx 560 4gb oc'd dual fan edition. To ryzen 3900x, with 2070 8gb ddr6 oc'd black edition...im building a whole new gaming pc amd... And a new 3d rendering memorial build to a passing friend.... I dont understand why everyone preferred intel over amd till just the other month i was getting 180fps avg on this build now it finally dropping to around the 60's finally after all tgis time and i havent tried to fix it.... I may not even need a new build i just want one at this point and my wife wasn't letting me till i told her it's "dying" not really.... However i'm doing a i9 9900k build from 3d project's, editing, semi stream server will have over 2000 movies on it might as well make use of them. But for some reason ive never got more fps on amd then intel but always stayed stead and 100's low 200's fps for years past and intel cpu.... Intel cpus crash on performance faster tham amd in my opinion... Never had luck gaming with intel... 🙁 idk maybe next build will be an intel.... Idk what i would do for an intel build though it's been so long..... From what i hear. Rtx 2070 8gb ddr6 oc black edition is best way to go.... For gaming however again i would have no idea where to go from there
