System:
Ryzen 3 3100
Rx580 4gb
16gb ddr4 3200mhz
Evga g2 550w

I know this isn't a dedicated gaming monitor, I wanted ips and freesync and am limited to 22inch on a budget. Limits options.

Monitor has 3 settings for refresh range. FS off which seems to be 60hz, FS on at 58-75hz, and ultimate FS at 48-75hz (may get flickering according to manual... Nice).

Basically, setting freesync on in radeon settings for this display introduces really noticeable juddering/inconsistent framerates. This is definite and noticeable on all games I tested, turn it on juddering. Turn it off smooth. So far best setting seems ultimate freesync on monitor, freesync off in radeon and vsync on.... Which makes no sense to me at all.

This doesn't seem to be working as intended to me?

I'm on hdmi (display doesn't have dp port)
Ive done full driver reinstall using DDU.

Any ideas? Just cack monitor?

Can't find how to close or end a post.
So this is solved by unplugging second monitor in hdmi, and plugged freesync display into that hdmi port. Fired up game and worked flawlessly
