[SOLVED] New Sapphire RX580 N+ card, no vrm monitoring?

I just got a pretty good deal on a new Sapphire RX 580 N+ and it's an impressive video card. But I noticed it doesn't have VRM monitoring.. . or does it? Installed Sapphire's Trixx overclocking app and got a big fat N/A for VRM temps. So I downloaded GPU-Z to check it out and it shows it's not there. Nope, nada, zip. I've always seen VRM temps register on cards later than 2007. This is the first time in a while that I haven't seen VRM monitoring on a video card. So I uninstalled AMD Crimson and Trixx and installed earlier versions.. . and still get the same results. No VRM temps. Card runs great in every game and test. Has really great GPU temps averaging high 40c, low 50c. Who can be unhappy with that? Just no VRM monitoring. Do 480's and 580 have VRM monitoring?
Sorta thinking my pretty good deal is suspect.

Yeah. Had it in both of my Asus Strix R9 390 & 390x.

Bud yah gotta get the app., the overclocking and hardware monitoring apps. They look for the sensors built into your card. The video drivers don't have it, but most of the later cards have the means for VRM monitoring, is most prevailant in Overclocking apps. Asus model of Nivida GTX970 does and Asus recommends their GPU Tweak 2 software which reports vrm readings
.HWiNFO has a hardware monitoring app you can download https://www.hwinfo.com/ and you should be able to see them. .It might be listed as GPU 0. Nvidia 970 did. Afterburner has live charting. They're not just clocking tools but finds and uses the monitor sensors built into your card.. Afterburner works with most gpu cards. You card probably has VRM monitoring capability built into it and to see it, you'll need to use an Apps. .

now I understand that you are talking about thermal sensors in VRM :)
most cards don't have it.
Sorry for the late response. Trying to clean up and update my post since I'm on an extended vacation (got fired). I'm reframing my life from working over time.
By the way, I saw your rig this morning. Looks awesome. I notice you had a 1070 in it and I had this opportunity to purchase one brand new from a friend. I just called him and got it. Thanks for the friendly persuasion.
