New School/gaming laptop - Budget 1800$

I need a new laptop primarily for school and gaming.
The budget is 1800$

Programs I need on it:
School: Office and Microsoft C5
Gaming: Football Manager, DayZ, Skyrim etc.
Other: Netflix, HBO, Spotify etc.

Computer Requirements:
- Max 15.6 "screen
- Good mousepad
- Do not weigh too much
- Good battery life
- HDMI, at least 3-4 USB
- Good display

It's was a mistake to pick that, as the best solution..
DeadGraphics, can I get that with a 15,6" screen? Because 17,3 "is too big.

But what do you suggest he do about the cooling issues the GT60/70 and GE60/70 series laptops have? 1 fan, hot GPU air vented over CPU, throttling under max load, etc.

try this - you can configure it to have an I7, 8GB RAM, gtx 880M (single most powerful mobile GPU atm) alongside your OS for $1750ish. its a 15.6'' screen size.
