I have a 3th world problem :p lol

At the moment I have a MSI R9 270X Gaming card in my system together with a 21,5 inch 1080P TN screen (IIyama ProLite E2208HDS).

I personaly LOVE the 1440P resolution, NOT 4k because I sit right in front of my screen and 4k is then not needed (my opinion). And most inportent is 4k is far out of my budget because then I will need a monster Gpu to run my games at a good fps :p

In June I want to upgrade to 1440P resolution and it MUST be a IPS panel because I never had one and I know (because I did my research) that IPS is the way to go if you love quality :D
Quality is MOST importend to me so 60 or 75pfs is fine (more also) :p
I also love screens with thin bezzels.

THE question:
If I`m going to upgrade to a 1440P resolution (any advice about a good screen is welcome) should I 1st buy the screen OR should I 1st go for another GPU????

My budget is around the 350 Euro`s so I can NOT do both.
I`m not the type of person who will cut on Quality.

What is the best way to go.......
1440P screen or 1st a new Gpu (witch is gonna be the MSI R9 380X) ???

I would get the screen first. You should still get some enjoyment out of it, then you will see how much a difference a new GPU will back like night and day, would be neat to witness. Just my opinion.

GPU first is my advice, I had the same dilemma as you do and made a mistake, ended up playing on crap resolutions on a 1440p monitor because my 760 didn't like the native resolution in games
So get the GPU first, enjoy your games, save up over time and get a nice 1440p IPS monitor. It's better this way than the other way around trust me :D

That is indeed the thing that I`m worried about.
1440P is so much nicer then 1080P but if I have not enough fps I get anoyed I think.

More fps on 1080P is not a upgrade......1440P is......But I have to be patience with this upgrade and 1st choose the Gpu indeed.

It really is a anoying problem if you must do this in 2 steps...whahahahaha
