This program doing good statistic?
http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm

http://www.partition-tool.com/copy-wizard/migrate-os-to-ssd.htm

or still better format? like when I power on pc I enter from SSD and not HDD ?

maybe recomendtion is to Clean Format Windows to the new SSD? (than install all programs want again)

Thx for Support mates.

Solution
It should default to AHCI but wise to check it in the BIOS.

You should disconnect the data cables of all other drives before installing Windows to the SSD and follow the install instructrions and yes, formatting the drive. You don't need a 3rd party partion tool.

Hey tomy_12. Basically it is always recommended that you do a fresh install of Windows whenever there's a new hardware upgrade. Here's an article with detailed instructions on everything you need to know when upgrading your computer with an SSD: http://lifehacker.com/5932009/the-complete-guide-to-solid-state-drives (you can skip the first part and go directly to "How to Install Your SSD")

Hope that helps.

roger that, disconect the Main HDD, install the SSD than Format Windows in.
after installed (formatting) done, connect my HDD again and Power on PC, than should be fine mates?

- Last issue, how to enter BIOS and check for AHCI working?
should press a button from the Start up windows screen, or from Desktop command "cmd"?

Thx very much!

ps-
new on site, so didnt was sure, pressed the "green" button as saw it here ^^ (in answers) I will go trough it and hope is help me Install in the right way :)

It's not quite clear what is your question in the "PS" from the post above. If you're asking for instructions on how to do everything with a new SSD and install or clone the OS, then take a look at the link I've posted in my previous post and also take into account @JackNaylorPE's post as well.
If you're asking about the green button and what it does - when you click it on a specific post, it means that this is the best answer given to you regarding your issue, which could help someone else in the future if he/she has the same issue and opens the thread.

Let me know if there's anything else.

oh, much thanks for your post bro.
first question is how enter to BIOS in windows 7, I think I found it by pressing DELETE keyboard button when windows starting up...

second question when changing from SATA (HDD) to ACHI (SSD) does it effect on "bad result" the HDD or just an option for the SSD run faster?

didnt make it to install my new SSD to system yet, I was sure I had an SATA 3 Cable but isn't, I'll buy.
and I was sure my case "place" for and HDD can carry a SSD but no, I'll buy: http://en.ksp.co.il/?uin=25565&store=kspjerusalems

and the way to format PC for a new fresh windows in a SSD going by:
1- disconect the HDD cables, install the SSD, power up PC, make sure the Format Disk on DVD drive on PC, and start the "format clicks".
2- windows installed, shut down PC, install my HDD again, than Power up system and windows going in by the new SSD, than I can see my older Drives from the HDD right?
3- Enjoy the Speed, and say Thanks to any Help 🙂
