New SSD running hot

Hello,
I bought one of the new Samsung Msata 850 evo over the weekend and installed it into my ge60 Apache, and I noticed that it is running pretty hot. After about 20 min of being on the ssd stay at about 123F, and that is idle temps. Is this normal? I have the same ssd in my desktop just a regular sata and that one runs at 83f under load. Any help would be appreciated!

What software is telling you that your SSD is running at 123F?

@CrimsonLuke I am using Speccy and CrystalDiskInfo and they are both with in a degree or two of each other.

Its cuz you have the SSD in your Laptop, theres little airflow inside causing heat while its working. In a normal case theres more space for airflow.

I would say that temp is normal for a msata drive in a laptop with no airflow over it.
My 850 M.2 ssd is currently running at 41C (106F) with my cpu cooler giving it some passive airflow.

Yes, that's normal.
It's still way within specified operating temperatures.
You only need to panic if it goes above 150
