I have been getting grief from current ssd for a while now and finally bought a new one. I unplug all hardrives except the new one. Go into Bios and select dvd drive as boot. At the end of the installation it says missing or corrupt file cannot finish install. I've tried several times I can't get it to work. I've tries formating it from windows disc and while using old ssd boot. I've looked this up quite a bit and cannot find anything. Any ideas?

So you were able to install Windows without a hitch on a different SSD? Did it work with yours as well afterwards?
It might have been a loose connection or something wrong with the OD. Or as already mentioned, some weird incompatibility issue with your SSD.

Please let me know what's the situation at this point.
Hey there, HawkofNight.

It sounds more likely that your installation media might be corrupted. If you have a spare drive, you could try installing Windows on it, to see if you're successful. If that's not the case, I'd recommend that you try the SSD with a different computer, to see if you have the same issue, or at least with a different SATA port and different cables on yours.
I'd also advise you to download an SSD diagnostic tool to test that drive and see if there's anything out of the ordinary, just to be on the safe side. Updating the SSD's firmware is also a viable option (of course, if there's an available update).

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.

How does a Cd boot disc get corrupted? Its the same one I did the original build on. No scratches or smudges. Ive done loads of test on every part of my computer. Every one of them says everything is working great. I know the new ssd works because it will take win8 just fine.

Well for now this is the only logical explanation I can think of. Especially if you're able to install Windows 8 from a different installation media without a problem on the same SSD. Perhaps if you try installing Win7 with that same disk on another drive, you'd either confirm my suspicion or take it out of the equation completely.

Doesn't make any sense but I tried another ssd and it wouldn't take. "Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070570"
