Question New stick of ram problem

Hi! I recently bought a new stick of 8gb DDR3 Ram. I wanted to upgrade from 8gb to 16gb but my old stick of ram had different timings and therefore was not compatible with the recently bought stick.(as far as i understood from researching the web). So I went ahead and bought another stick of ram, the exact same one as the previous new one ( so now i have 2 exact same ram sticks) and the pc does not boot with both of them. If only 1 is socketed, the pc boots normaly. If I put in the second one, i'm not even seeing the motherboard boot screen. I looked the problem up and i found some info about bumping DRAM Voltage in bios, but my bios doesn't allow me to change it higher than the 3 options it has, which are Auto, 1.24, 1.42. Could my problem be with the motherboard's second ram slot being broken? Or what else can I do to fix this?

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Buying exact match, same thing, identical have no guarantee to be compatible with your existing memory.

I'm not using my old memory since my H110mhv3 motherboard only has 2 ram sockets.

I'm only trying to use the new ones which are the exact same
