yea probably should have started with that ha, emm mainly gaming, high spec games like GTA 5 and COD, also i want to stream gameplay to twitch, other then that the standard uses, thanks again

Ok. Twitch streaming isn't particularly demanding (provided you have decent quality internet of course).... and 1080p really doesn't call for the i7 or GTX 1070.....or even 32GB RAM.

The sound card is probably unnecessary these days, and if you're looking to use Wifi, ensure you're running the latest standards that your router supports (currently AC, but you may have an older N router). The "wired network" adapter is a relic. Onboard gigabit LAN is more than sufficient.

While the i7 + 1070 may be beneficial in future, moving to 1440p or even 4K, if your plan is to stick to 1080p for the forseeable future, the an i5-6600K + 1060 would likely serve you just as well.

For 1080p, I'd suggest this cheaper option:

Again, no harm in the 'overkill' build, but even then, I'd make some changes:

I changed the CPU cooler out on both to a Noctua NH-D15 air cooler. Rivals the higher end liquid options for cheaper and....well, there's no liquid.

wow dude, thanks alot, ill defo be taking this into consideration, i do like the overkill option 😛 haha, thanks again buddy

No worries. I hate to see people overspending if they can avoid it.

Even if you went for the 'overkill' build I suggested, you're still saving $300. Realistically, the i7 + 1070 would be a better performer at 1440p and should be respectable at 4K also so, if you're looking at a monitor upgrade in the (relatively) near future, the i7 + 1070 build may be a smarter move anyway. At 1080p though, it is overkill.
