So, I've had a Phenom II X4, and I've tried overclocking it. Well, no where in my BIOS do I see anything to do it with. I've looked up guides, don't see any place to overclock.
So, I want to know if it's CPU or the BIOS that allows you to over clock. The main reason is I'm wanting to buy an FX 6300, because apparently it's "easy" to OC to 4.0ghz, and I'd rather save $70 on that to put towards a nicer PSU than get an FX 8350.
So if I buy the 6300, and I get screwed over because my BIOS won't let me OC, I'm gonna be slightly discomforted. Thanks guys.
