Hi community, so I'm new to SSDs and was looking to get a SSD. My build is as follows:

OS - Windows 10 64-bit
MB - Gigabyte GA-G1 Sniper B7
CPU - Intel Core i5 6500
GPU - Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 6GB
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB DDR4-2400)
HDD - Western Digital WD 500GB
PSU - Antec NEO 620W
CASE - NZXT Source 220

The SSD that I'll get is a M2. Here is one I'm looking at:

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-850-EVO-Internal-MZ-N5E500BW/dp/B00TGIW1XG/ref=sr_1_cc_6?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1489243583&sr=1-6-catcorr&keywords=m2+ssd

(Prefer to use amazon because I have Prime.) Would that be compatible/fine if purchased. Any help is appreciated. :)

What is the difference between a M.2 Sata, M.2 NVMe, and M.2 PCIe AHCI? What is the one that I'm pretty much looking for? (My case doesn't have SSD drive bays where my SATA HDD is mounted.)

Ordered the Evo 850 M.2 and it came today. Works great and boot times is awesome. Games perform better on it (was using a WD 500GB SATA II HDD ). The WD drive is now stored away.
