New video card coming up black.

New graphics card giving black screen. I get sound and it boots. Gives 1 long, 3 short beeps. Asus motherboard, adequate psu. Both the card and the port are functional on their own. Paging doctor House.

LOL on the House comment. Try resetting CMOS, reseating GPU, and make sure everything is plugged in correctly from your PSU. ALSO BEFORE ANY OF THAT LIST SPECS.

try and make sure everything is seated properly and pcie power if plugged in if needed

If I am reading properly, the card and monitor and cable all work fine, just not together
Sometimes, a bios update for the motherboard can ensure compatibility witht he new graphics card
Had to do it once with a MSI Z77 GD65 and a Powercolor 7950 Boost

Disregard. I just didn't install properly. Thank you for the prompt advice however.
