Hi there everyone,

As the tittle says, I bought a new graphic card to upgrade my system. Its an Asus r7 360-OC-2GD5-V2.

Before this card i had an Nvidia one a GT 730 by MSI.

The problem is that when I installed the new R7 graphic card I did not get signal the monitor just stayed black.

but the PC was booting up so if i changed the cable from the new card to the intergrated one it gives signal and everythings good.

And i just cant make it to give signal.

I checked every cable they were just fine the power cable was pluged in to my graphic card fans were spinning everything was okay but still no signal.

At this time i had a chieftec 450W Power supply with 20A on the 12V rail. I read about that R7 360 requires atleast 33amps on the 12v rail, also in my situation i have the OC edition card

so I was almost sure the PSU is the fault here.

so I replaced it with the same brand Chieftec but this time with a GPS-600A8 this is a 600W PSU now with 46A on the 12V rail so when i was installing the new PSU I was sure about this will now work.

I installed the new PSU cable management looked nice I was takeing care about every cable also double checked before starting up the PC every cable was pluged in also the graphic card's power cable.

BUT..no signal

I would run the new card with a DVI-D cable becuse my monitor is an LG 22MP47D-P IPS Monitor with D-Sub and DVI-D support.

But it doesnt metter what cable or monitor I use with the new card.

Tired with D-SUB no signal. also with other monitor

HDMI/Display port Same thing. also with other monitor.

I also tired a DVI-D-SUB adapter with a D-SUB cable still not working still no signal.

Power must be okay PSU with 600W must be okay in my opinion, cables are all connected

In bios i checked the video settings are on PEG (but still can see the integrated graphic settings when i was useing my old GT-730 and i set it to PEG the integrated settings disapiered.)

so BIOS is okay i also flashed to the newest version..still no signal.

I tired the new card with an other system...no signal..

With other monitors...no signal again. with all the ports on the graphic card.

I was also trying to booting in safe mode to uninstall all the old drivers did not help still no signal also did a new clean win install still no signal..

I used Driver fusion to uninstall all drivers then i turned off the PC installed the new card then i tired to boot...no signal..

Whenever I want to install any of the AMD drivers even that one whitch came with the card I recive errors like Hardware not detected or Installation package faild or error.

In normal and also in safe mode I cant see the new card under the device manager.

I thing I did everything what was possible, but now im realy out of ideas...and I just cant belive that the new card is broken or something like that.

Also i checked PC part picker's site way before i bought the new card and its compaticable with my mobo. (btw it is an MSI H61-P20(G3))

All the mobo drivers are installed bios is already updated to the newest version...I realy have no idea what to do...

So can you guys please help me out with this? I would realy appreciate it.

Best regards. and thanks for everything in advance.

Hi thx for the tips but i already fixed it the problem was my MOBO for some reason it got infectef idk why...probably becuse i ran some nvidia cards with that motherboard also i was flashing them well i just replaced my motherboard and its works now just fine.
Hi there,

Yes i can boot with it but whenever i plug the DVI cable to the new GPU the monitor show no signal but I dont even have to shut it down just plug it out and in again but now to the integrated onboard DVI then its okay ready to go and i see on the monitor its standing at the login screen of windows after booting. se ye i can boot the system up with it but i just cant make the new card to work and show signal on the monitor. I tested it with all cables HDMI DVI DSUB Display still not working also with an other system no luck :/

Well that sounds like it could be using the integrated and not the graphics card. Have you tried booting up with the integrated, and then going into device manager to check that the gpu shows. If it does, then reboot and head into bios, and see if you can select that gpu to use. While selecting what gpu use whatever connection lets you see what you are doing

what if the card disables the monitor whenever it is plugged in? Like i cant even boot windows on the mobo graphics when the card is in. Its as if the card disables the monitor whenever its plugged in
