If you don't trust your OS vendor, use another OS that you do trust.

All OS vendors have a business model, if you don't like it that's not their problem unless people avoid them en-mass.

I know, right? Canonical added some Amazon stuff (which was pretty bad, to be honest. a Proper Amazon Ubuntu app would've been great. I use Amazon a lot, but this was a dumb web box) but it was totally reconfigurable to the point it was never used.

Just another uninstallable annoyance that want to survey me and upload everything about me, for profit, to a company I no more trust.

I do not accept control of my PC taken away from me.
I do not accept being forced into Microspyware network.
I don't want a Microspyware account.
I don't need to log online to use my PERSONAL computer.
I don't accept my network clogged with unnecessary traffic.

Thank you! I don't have a habit of trolling. There is too much of it all ower the internet. I like Linux, but the truth is that gamers are still not having what they want with it.
So we now have this new Windows 10, that seems to behave better than win8 does, will be constantly upgraded (like iOS). And MS has a plan for somewhat common platform in the long run. So they have their own reason, why win10 is like it is.
So the alternatives are that we adapt, or move to Linux. Both alternatives have their merits. Moving to Linux could introduce new real platform also to games (now Linux has something like 1% market share, and that is too little), or move to win10 in the long run and be sure that there is that huge program support.
