Hello... I am new here but I am having a problem that I really don't know how to solve. I have had issues with connecting to my home network and the internet. I recently had to purchase a new motherboard, CPU and memory to get my computer functional again. I bought an MSI Z97S motherboard, i5 CPU, and 8 gigs of memory. When I got windows up and running, I had internet and network access. But it seems to be changing everyday. Yesterday I didn't have network or internet, and then I went into the network settings and got back the internet and network. This morning I have network but no internet. I am totally baffled as to why this computer is switching the access when it is idle and how to make it stop? I really don't want to go through reloading windows again. It makes me lose data on my data drive because it is a large drive.

This is a wired connection. I went in last night and disabled the net card to eliminate the 2 network connections that were there. Then re-enabled and the home network was then visible and the internet was there as well as all the computers on my network. Went to bed and got up this morning and again, no internet and 2 connections. I do not understand how this is happening. I also removed the power saving off of the device thinking that was it. But apparently I am wrong. I am going to go purchase a wireless card today and see if that fixes the problem. At this point, I am at a loss...

Oh, and I did hook up my laptop to the wire and got internet just fine, so I am pretty sure that I have eliminated that problem. I have also checked my ip address and it is just fine too. Any other suggestions would be helpful at this point.
