NEW Workstation for music production and video editing

Hello all, I was looking for my old account here but I preferred to link my facebook with this new account.
I'm a 33yo musician and videomaker suddenly looking to buy a new workstation. I put together a list of elements which do not include monitors, hd and videocard which I already own.

This is the list:
ASUS - TUF X299 MARK 1 Socket LGA 2066 Chipset X299 ATX
INTEL - i7-7820X (Skylake-X) Octa-Core 3.6 GHz Socket LGA 2066
CORSAIR - Case Carbide Series® Quiet 600Q Inverse ATX Full-Tower
CRUCIAL - Dimm Ballistix Sport LT 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4 2666 MHz CL16
CORSAIR - 650 Watt Serie Rmi ATX 12V v2.4

I can buy this brand new for something around 1800 euros - I honestly wanted to spend less and saving money right now. But difference between LGA1156 and LGA2066 is only 300€ so I wanted to prepare for the new i9 once they will lower their prices.

My biggest concerns are regarding power supply (will it be enough with 3 hdd? will it be quiet?)
and liquid cooler: that one does support LGA2066 correct? (different specs on different sites, some say yes, some say no)

I'd appreciate any kind of suggestion, thank you

You said you wanted to spend less, so I changed the build from intel i9 to ryzen 7. The ryzen 7 1700 is also an 8 core cpu like the 7820x, and will perform similarly at a much smaller cost. I kept most of what was on there, the case and the psu, and 64gb of ram:

As for the psu, it should be fine. Depends on your graphics card. If it's something like a 1080ti, r9 290x, or something along those lines, then I'd push it up to 750w for some extra headroom. I wouldn't doubt the rmi though, they are awesome units.

Yes that's an interesting solution - I was going Intel way for two reasons: the new 12-16 and up cores processors that will come from i9 and because I've never tried an AMD product.

I must admit I'm not familiar with AMD future developments regarding CPUs, I also want to be sure to buy a Mother Board that will be suitable for future CPUs

am4 is a new platform, it should be good for any new cpu's. If you need the pci lanes and all that, you could wait for threadripper and get the 8 core version (basically an 1800x but on the tr4 platform rather than on am4). You could potentially get a 16 core on threadripper as well, for probably half the price intel is talking about selling their 16 core for.
