Ive got my new z490 aorus ultra working but no ethernet. The ethernet worked briefly for a second when I first installed windows but now I cant get ethernet at all. All I have is wifi. Nothing shows up in device manager, the lan controller is enabled in bios, lan leds are blinking. All chipset and lan drivers are installed, along with windows update. I tried reinstalling windows, and updating the bios as well as reverting back to the older revision but no luck. I even tried downloading the intel lan driver directly from intel but it said there is no network adapter installed. Is my lan chip doa or is there anything else I can try to get it to show up?

A Z490 is so new that it may not work, but try a USB Linux boot...

A Z490 is so new that it may not work, but try a USB Linux boot. That will eliminate Windows completely.

I have a Z490 Tuf Gaming plus. I had the same issue, but I went to ASUS website and Downloaded the LAN driver and installed it. It worked flawlessly.

I see the asus drivers include a firmware update, the gigabyte drivers do not. I tried installing the asus driver on my board but unsurprisingly it wouldnt let me. Hopefully gigabyte will put something out soon.
