I'm 14 years old and have started to interest on building my first own computer.
My Father had told me he is bringing an Office computer that I thought had pretty decent specs to run maybe Minecraft or League of Legends. I havent received it yet because my father is not coming home till the weekend. But however he sent me some pictures and told me the specs of it.

Its a Dell 960 desktop with:
Processor: Intel Core 2Duo e8400 (3.0ghz) He also told me he can OC it for me to (4.0ghz)
MOBO: Im not sure
RAM: 4GB DDR3 Ram
HDD: 250gb
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 500W
Graphics Card: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 450
Case: I'm buying a Zalman Z9 Plus Mid Tower! (I asked in my last thread about transferring an old desktop and they said that i could transfer it into a MID ATX tower.)

So Im asking if you could give any opinions if this build could somehow play Minecraft or League?? Or maybe some upgrades that aren't very expensive (BTW im not spending over $100 for one component upgrade). I am not a hardcore gamer, and only plays light games with my friends. I came here to ask because my laptop can only handle Minecraft at very low settings.

While it is fairly old setup, its ok for what it is going to be intended for, I would recommend getting a better GPU. A R7 260X is only $117 on rakuten

This will help you get maximum performance on minecraft and also get you some decent settings on newer games as well :)

Hey thank you so much for answering again!! But is there another GPU that isin't over $100 cause i dont think my parents would let me buy such expensive component since they arent very approval of me playing video games.

While I do not approve of lower end cards here

This is a R7 250X, lower than the 260x, but less than 100 dollars

If not then here

A regular 250 without the X, a bit slower and a bit cheaper.

I recommend the 250x though for a little higher performance.
