Newbie needs more ram plz

hi, im a little new, i have a hp envy phoenix 810-445qe, which can be googled easy to find specs, it says i have 4 slots on motherboard, which is a HP 2B36(Kaili2) i currently have 2 8gb of ram, i would like to add more ram but when i asked somebody who works with computers he said i couldnt add more ram, plz help me figure out if i can really add more ram plz ty

Typically this will be 8gb max per slot, and 32GB total. B )

For best results try and get the same brand and model/speed/timings/voltage as your other sticks.

Well the HP site if you looked says it supports 32 GB max

so you have 2x8GB right? they run at 1600MHz so you can buy another 2 sticks with 8GB 1600MHz each, install them and get 32GB which is the max for your board
