Newegg is really starting to make me angry

I am a Newegg Premier customer. I pay a certain amount annually for that privilege. Now something strange is happening. Every time I order something frm them, I see the free shipping deal that's part of the Premier deal (3 days, not 2 like Amazon Prime), but then on the final page of the order, the 3-day shipping has a charge. Not much, but still.

Last week I ordered something and there was a $2.99 shipping charge. SO I chose the free 4-7 days hipping option, thinking I'd just contact them and have it resolved, and even if it didn't work, it wasn't a part I needed urgently. So customer support chat tells me that the only thing they can do is to cancel my order, and have me resubmit it with 3-day shipping which they will then refund - all this to save $2.99.

I told them to forget it and moved on. Yesterday I ordered something and the same thing happened again, except this time shipping is $4.99. So I choose the $4.99 shipping option and try to contact them. 1st time chat has a wait time of 1hr 40minutes, so I quit and decide to try again today.

Today they tell me I have to wait until the order arrives at my house, then contact them to have the shipping refunded.

I told them that I'd be re-evaluating my Premier membership and how much of my business they'll be getting. I can have things here faster using Amazon Prime (have to pay taxes, though) or I can use TigerDirect, NCIX, B&H or any one of a number of alternates. Don't get me wrong, I really like shipping at NEwegg, but I don't need to be aggravated over petty amounts of shipping charges and hassles with their unhelpful and unresponsive customer support.
