I recently built a PC. Asus z270p , i3 7100, GTX 1080. Everything from Facebook marketplace. When the first time I put the PC together it posted and there was display output and I enter the BIOS. The keyboard and mouse was working also. Then I prepared a USB for Windows and plugged in to the rear usb port when the PC was in bios. Immediately the bios froze, keyboard and mouse become it unresponsive. Now when I restart the PC it has no display output and a no sign of life on the mouse and keyboard. Did I mangaled the BIOS or it is hardware issue? I tried resetting the CMOS. But no prevail.

How was the effort to reset CMOS attempted?

Did you follow the process provided in the motherboard's User Guide/Manual?

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (new, refurbished, used?

Make and model: keyboard and mouse - wireless, USB ...?

When the new build fails to boot are there any beep codes or diagnostic LEDs being lit?
