Question Newly formatted hd, computing only booting half the time, and taking its sweet time to do so

I bought this computer - was working fine, though it took about 15 seconds to boot - it always booted. I put a larger HD in it and then installed Win 10 on it. Now, it only boots half of the time. When it does boot, it takes about half a minute or so to do it. Once it boots up, it seems to work fine. It does not make any noises when booting - no beeps, etc. I think the internal speaker is set up. How do I approach this problem? I know it is an older computer, but it does way more than what I need.

Remove the hd and get a sata ssd to install. That will make it feel like a new machine. That should really cut down the boot times as well.

Yes, the problem still exists - already put a fresh OS on it. I will look up disk management.
