The Inspiron 14 and XPS 13 are getting Snapdragon X variants.

Not entirely correct. Only the "Inspiron 14 Plus 7441" has been "confirmed" to use the upcoming Snapdragon X processor.

This model was also recently spotted in Geekbench Browser, sporting the Snapdragon X Elite X1E80100 12-core CPU.

The XPS 13 9345 laptop model on the other hand, has not been fully confirmed whether it will feature a Snapdragon X Elite SoC, or an Intel Core Ultra CPU. The previous XPS 13 plus model came with an Intel Core i7-1360P processor.

I find it concerning that all of these laptops are segmented in the mid-high to top tier of their respective lineups.

So far, the cheapest looking one is the Slim 5
