i can't seem to find a review on the site, has this specific drive been tested?


getting a heads up when there's a good deal on a product is great, but it's commonly mentioned on the site that manufacturer's ratings need to be taken with a pile of salt so without a review Tom's looks more like a price aggregator than a hardware review site.

it'd be helpful to mention whether specs came from the manufacturer in cases like this. it's a bit disingenuous to just state them while leaving any ambiguity regarding where those numbers came from. otherwise they could be misinterpreted as verified by Tom's when they aren't.
