Yes!!! Smaller screen and better battery! I really like this phone if the released information is right!
Nothing wrong with 1080p, but not with the enhange of battery life and handy size.

PCMAG said T4 DESTROYS S600.

They ran the benchmarks themselves.
"The first hint we've seen of Qualcomm's new generation comes in some benchmarks done on the HTC One, which uses Qualcomm's new 1.7-GHz Snapdragon 600 chipset - not the 800, but the next notch down. The Tegra 4 still destroys it."

You can say it isn't out yet, but you can't say s600 wins anything vs T4. A15's are faster, and the gpu blows away the A320 even clocked up. I predict T4i will even be a match for S600 and possibly very close to S800 or even beat it in some stuff. It's upclocked and based on a faster version of the A9, and the gpu should be about a wash. However, I don't think S600 is in T4's league at all. Why won't QCOM let anyone benchmark the S800? Maybe they don't have final silicon by now. But they haven't even put out their own benchmarks yet either, let alone having a review site bench it.
"That aside, device may also pack Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600, which has thus far shown itself to rival Nvidia's Tegra 4. It's also beaten Apple's A6 in every single test that CPUBoss has thrown at them."
I checked the link and only see sunspider, and this isn't A6x (which should be about what this years apple chip can do in a phone A7?). Name one benchmark S600 beats T4 in please. I see a lot of questionable info in this article.

"Now, before the videophiles complain that this isn't even close to Apple's Retina display"

Huh? Did you think before you typed this out?
720p (1280x720) @4.5 inches is almost exactly the same PPI as the iphone 5 - 1136-by-640 @4 inches
