I finally got set on which parts to use for my new upgrade, then it came to my attention that i'm having a hard time finding the K8N Neo Platinum.. or any other 250Gb motherboard for that matter. Are none for sale now? And if not, how soon can they be expected? And for gods sake, THG and other review sites need to have a BIG FAT column or something saying if/when the item is set for release. When they post benchmark reviews its kinda misleading.. but anyway..

Thanx in advance

K8N Neo Platinum not released yet AFAIK. I put myself on the notification mailing list for when it becomes available, and they haven't emailed me yet. That being said, I think its worth the wait. The offerings from Chaintech, Epox, and Gigabyte have not impressed me.

While we're on that subject, what do FUD and IIRC mean?

I posted a simular thread. Someone in the community brought it to my attention that board (moved from out of stock/preorder to) in stock at zipzoomfly as of today June 3, 2004. I am not sure if it is an elaborate ruse or not though, lol. I put my name on the auto notify list on the msi website and I haven't heard from them yet.

Dear Customer,

The K8N Neo Platinum will support the Athlon 64 3200+ and you should have no problem using the Corsair TWINX 1GB memory kit. The K8N Neo Platinum has begun shipping to vendors.
