NFS ProStreet running so slow HELP PLEASE!

Hi guys, so I just freshly installed the game I bought from GameStop. Everything goes fine until I ran the game. The game tends to run slow while creating an alias but it doesn't run slow on startup. Basically, after you load the intro movie and click start, the game will not run smoothly. My pc specs are FAR BEYOND RECOMMENDED because it is a 2007 game. Take a look at my specs on my signature. Ironically, the game runs smoothly on my slow laptop. What the hell?

Steps I did:
1.)Installed new graphics driver (350.12)
2.)Updated DirectX to DirectX 11
3.)Patched the game to 1.1

Can you help me please? I really need this game since my cousin will be playing mine for a while.

Are you running XP or Vista? I think that's what the game works with.

No man. I'm running Win7 Ultimate. Should I try running it on Vista or XP?

My laptop is a 2nd gen i7 2670QM and sports an Nvidia Geforce 610M with the same driver as mine. It also runs on Windows 7 Ultimate.

I tried running it on XP and Vista mode a while ago but it still doesn't work.

I think so. I'm so frustrated thinking that my gaming machine can't properly run this game whereas my slow-ass laptop that boots up after 10 years can run this game without problems. Talk about irony. Anyways, thanks for your help.
