Could this cooler handle a Ryzen 9950X3D using 2 x 32GB 6000MHZ RAM sticks on the default XMP profile?

My case has 3 intakes and 3 exhausts but has small room for air intake at all, its an nzxt h710i...i think? The design is identical to that case but maybe a liiitle bit bigger?

Anyway, would it run cool enough? The non s nh-d15 was not entirely too large for my case but offered too little room between the cooler and the GPU's backplate for my liking.

Thanks

You should be fine...

though you might want to think about taking the fascia of the case off and seeing if your temps improve, if so then you need a new case, one with a well ventilated front panel.

Are you not sure about your case? Pass on images of the case for us to see.

I have the noctua NH-D15S in my 9 year old rig i also have a front , side , top and rear fan in my coolermaster haf-x case. If the rig did not have light strips on it i would not know it was switched on. When the rig is working hard i can only just hear the fans on the gtx 1080

Why the Noctua? It's so expensive for what it gives.

Go for the Thermalright Peerless Assassin. It's as good if not better than the Noctua, and is a third of the price.
Look at the picture they posted. They already have and are using the D15S.
They want to know if it's ok to carry it over to a new CPU, which, going by the link in Lutfij's post, is a yes.

The case airflow is questionable though; older reviews mention as such.

I see videos saying the 9800x3d and 9950x3d get melty by default and i need to manually power limit them to use them safely. is that true or would defaults work with my current config and cpu cooler

do you think i will need to do any manual setting of limits with this cooler or would default be fine
Currently running a 9800X3D. EXPO enabled, PBO disabled... Alphacool 360mm on it, runs fine as far as I'm concerned. I don't even bother with the Curve Optimizer stuff.

I feel some of the word of mouth is spreading needless FUD... except for what ever the heck was going on with Asrock...
Besides going into bios to enable EXPO, you should check if PBO is enabled or not, as some boards may have it enabled by default.

I say, just have a big cooler on the chips, and enable/disable PBO at your own discretion.

Is Auto pbo ok? It seems to go to Auto on my mobo when i enable xmp
