NH D15S vs NH D14

I'm looking for a good 160mm CPU fan and I've decided on either the NH-D15S or NH-D14. I'm wondering which one is better for cooling down my CPU (I don't really care about noise all that much) especially since they are very similar in price where I live. I know the D15 is better than the D14 but I'm not sure about the D15S. Thanks!

D15S is about 1C better than D14 whereas D15 is 3C better. D15S however is amazing in term of RAM clearance especially for quad channel mobo (X99, X299 and X399) and also offsets further from first PCI-E slot. If you can get D14 cheaper go for it, it's only 1C difference. If you do think of upgrading to X99 and the like in future the D15S may make a better case as it doesn't interfere with all 8 DIMM slots.

Is it possible to add a second fan to the D15S in the future if I wanted to?

Yes you can even add 2 fans for triple fans setup. The reason Noctua remove the 2nd fan though is for RAM compatibility and really it's a lot of money for 2C difference from the 2nd fan.

Why you telling that D15 is 3C better, and D15S only 1c better? As it seems D15 D15s difference only in D15S does not interfere with RAM? But there are no mo deference in TDP or anything else.
