Nice hash not detecting hd 6950 for mining

I'm running 2 hd7970's and 1 hd 6950 in my mining rig. Nicehash is detecting my 2 7970's, but not the 6950. Is there certain drivers I should be using or something else. Let me know, thanks.

how much memory has the 6950? if it's 2gbs your gonna have trouble loading the DAG file into memory. If you don't have enough vram, the card won't work.

The 7970's work fine it's just the 6950 not working

because the 7970 have 3gb of vram? right? The DAG file at the moment starts at 2gbs, so it won't work on 2gb cards. With 3gb cards you have a little room, but eventually the DAG will reach 3gb and it won't be able to load onto the 7970's either. The article explains it quite well. Have a good read.

I got it working with the new nicehash miner 2.0.0.12 thanks for the info tho!

happy days though. Keep in mind, the size of the DAG file will always increase. I would bet the 6950 will stop working again sooner than later. At least you have got it going again for the time being. Good luck mining
