Nintendo Makes Opera Wii Web Browser Free

well just notice somthing wrong with this artical. it says nintendo will give a free game from NES, SNES, and N64. problem is that nintendo is only given a free NES game thats worth 500 wii point.

Its interesting as some people have mentioned before the night and day difference between browsing capabilities that I can browse the complete internet with little problem on my Brother's family Wii...but my cousins PS3?....its like playing L4D on a "Pentium3 1GHZ 16mb Riva TNT" vs "Core2Quad ATI 4870" - granted the PS3 is 5x more powerful than the Wii...yet the Wii just painlessly browse and is able to watch U-toob. (u must have U-Toob especially during family get-2-gethers. its fun to watch stupid people).

Wii Web Browsing is good and serves as a way to kick the kids off my PC so I can game. It also serves as a wife-online-shopping tool, which ofcourse, frees up my PC for my personal Gaming time and Porn time..(just a little of the later...sometimes "deprevation" leads to you extremes..)

The PS3 and Xbox 360 just don't cut it.

Tried it just for fun... wow... you have to do this once so you can appreciate web browsing on a PC.

Wii internet is BAD.

It would be cool if the wii could atcually display at a decent resolution. 480p or 480i would be lame. Most websites are made with at least 1024 X 768 in mind as a minimum resolution.

Back to subject, Wii internet is no where near PC but its much better than PS3 or Xbox(no web browisng). Its great for all the examples I gave and more. Again...its not your PC Web Browsing experience.

It does.

The first iteration supported Flash 7 but this latest version supports Flash Lite 3.1 which uses Flash 8 and allows it video support for the majority of sites on the Internet.

Take a look @ guitar hero world tour on Wii... You come home with a nice new $210 game only to realize you need to purchase three more controllers if you want to use the other instruments, plus a base. (4 controllers total to use all instruments...

Well I wasn't mocking the Wii, hell I have one myself... My intention was merely pointing out the spelling mistake, as with it the sentence makes little sense. Oh well, I guess in this so called modern civilization, sometimes all you get for doing something good is a bite in the ass... oh the humanity.

By the way, I'm surprised that no one else noticed and this still hasn't been corrected.

Wow. Looks like when I get home today I am turning the Wii on and downloading this. Been a while since I actually turned it on. Been too busy.... I wish though that the resolution would go higher than 480p. It looks good but would look better in 720P or even 1080P. The Wii though is a great concept on what Nintendo can do but it still needs a lot more work done to the whole project, maybe better games or more features...
