Nitrile Gloves good for anti static?

Didn't know where to put this topic honestly but since I didnt have a grounding strap i used Nitrile gloves that my mom has at her work(Verizon). I guess all the etch guys use them. I was just wondering if they would work good for anti static. My computer works fine so i'm guessing they worked or else I got super lucky. Anyways, Is Nitrile a good anti static material? I know latex is terrible for static.

yeah i seen that on the description but all the sites that popped up were like company's selling stuff so i wasnt sure if it was a gimick or not.
