Hello, starting recently I have been having stability issues with my PC.
Seemingly at random my screen will have random graphical artifacts which start fairly mild but increase in frequency until my screen goes blank for a while. Sometimes there is a color and other times its like its only the backlight. About half the time the computer recovers and I can use it without having to restart but the other time I am forced to perform a reset to be able to use it again.
Windows event viewer is reporting an Nvidia OpenGL Driver Error code: 3 (subcode 2)

I have an Nvidia GTX 980 that used to have a slight overclock but I have been running at stock since the issue started happening. I am using driver version 440.97 but I have also tried the most recent version to no avail.

I thread I found online suggested it might be a RAM issue however memtest was unable to find anything and taking memory out did not change anything.

attached is an example I was able to get of the graphical artifacts.
