No 75hz option in Rainbow Six Siege

So i overclocked my monitor to 75hz coming from 60hz using a hdmi cable. I can set the hz everywhere (in control panel & monitor settings) but when i go in game it doesn't give me the option to take 75hz.

You don't need to enable a setting in the game for it to run at 75fps, it should just do it. With vsync on and the monitor running at 75hz FPS should be capped at 75fps. With vsync off framerate should go as high as your hardware will allow.

This isn't what I mean. I have 75hz overclocked everywhere but I dont get the option to put it as 75hz in Rainbow. I only get 60hz.

I found a fix!
Instead of changing it in Control Panel I made custom resolutions in CRU and restarted my drivers. This worked!

If it was the monitor would have either displayed nothing or said 'out of range' when the OP overclocked it.

You can verify that the monitor is indeed running at 75hz by going to https://www.testufo.com/

I didn't know the game let you pick your refresh rate, most don't it is automatically set by whatever is set in windows. CRU edit's the registry, nvidia control panel just makes .inf file changes. I guess siege was looking for what was set in the registry for resolution.
