I have Adobe Reader installed and running fine on my PC (Adobe Reader XI - latest)

It also works fine within Firefox .. plugin installed, enabled & working

However due to a specific requirement I have to use IE (v 11 latest)
This currently will not work with on-line adobe forms ... when I look under add-ons .... only Adobe Shock wave shows, there is no Adobe reader plug-in.

I have re-run Adobe Reader install ... it comes back with message 'application already installed'
How can I install the IE browser plug-in?

Within Manager Add-ons I click on 'find plugins & toolbars' but it has nothing for Adobe or reader (pretty useless)

Anybody know how I can install it .... Adobe web pages just say enable it, but can't as it does not show.

Solution
Adobe Reader doesn't run as a plug-in in IE, it runs as an ActiveX control.

In the "Manage Add-ons" window, select "All add-ons" in the 'show' bar.
You should see "Adobe PDF Reader" in the list on the right.

Click that once to highlight it.
Click "Enable" button in the lower panel.
