Question No audio from new(ish) monitor.

I bought a new monitor a while ago for gaming. Not sure it’s actual name but it’s listed as EG27144. Anyway I always use a headset so I hadnt discovered this until now. When I select it in the windows audio settings it plays no sound. I’ve gone into the monitors settings using the button on the back and it is not muted and the volume is set to 100. It is connected via HDMI. It is one of two monitors connected. It is not muted in the windows settings either.

Wasn’t really sure what to do so I’ve come here yet again. I’ve been here before you guys helped me out so fingers crossed you’ll rescue me again. Let me know if you need any more information from me.

Googling the model comes up with a monitor with no speakers. Cheapo monitors like that often use a generic control board that has settings that don't pertain to the monitor.
