In device manager i only have Bluetooth Audio Device and nothing else. i have my desktop connected to my Sony Bravia via hdmi and it has no sound. ive had this same set up for awhile with no problems. The only thing i can find in device manager is under the system device tab is that i have 2 High Definition Audio Controller with yellow exclamations, I have tried updating, uninstalling and reinstalling those 2 but they continue to have the problem. I have an i5 4440 with intel hd 4600. i will be installing a gtx 750 ti tomorrow, would that clear up the problem, either way thanks in advance to anyone who answers,

Looks like the drivers for your audio 'disappeared'. The sound Devices should be under Sound, ... in Device Manager. What are they? Are their drivers loaded? And up to date?

The graphics card won't fix this. It'll add audio drivers for the card. But not for elsewhere.

The only thing in device manager under the sounds video and game contollers section is the bluetooth audio device, nothing else is in there, and the high definition audio device with the exclamation point is under the system devices section of the device manager. When i click it says this under device status This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.

Bluetooth audio device is the only one listed under sounds playbacks and game controllers, the high def audio contorllers say the device status is This device cannot start. (Code 10)
