Hi everyone!
I need help with an issue I'm facing, I'm suspecting I have a bug or malfunction of my motherboard. The model is ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H GAMING WIFI. It's my personal build, I've had it for over a year with no issues. But this morning I woke up and when i pressed the power button, nothing was happening, the PC has power so it can't really be a PSU issue, the RGB's and LEDs are all working fine.
What I noticed was the BIOS flashback LED flashing green constantly which wasn't the case before. So I tried to figure out what happened, retracing my steps, the night before this happened I got myself a new Razer mouse Basilisk V3 Pro and also installed Razer Synapse, so at first I thought it could be some kind of weird bug that doesn't allow me to boot because of the mouse USB, well I removed the razer synapse and my mouse USB and it still didn't boot.
After a few hours of cleaning my PC and unplugging everything, I noticed something quite odd, when I power up my PSU there's a split second when the flashbeck LED on my motherboard doesn't start, if i press the power button fast enough the PC boots up normally with no issues and works perfectly fine, no performance issues no shutdowns, nothing... it works perfectly fine, but its quite a bother to switch off my psu and switch it on everytime i want to use my PC.
So my question is : Did anyone here ever had this issue and did they find a fix to it and a cause? I would love to recieve some help on this please !
Fixes I tried: Updating bios, uninstalling razer synapse and not using a razer mouse, unplugging cables and plugging them back in, updating windows, updating drivers, reseating the rams, using a different outlet, changing monitors. Im really out of ideas please help !
I also added 2 videos for reference : first one is a video of the BIOS Flashback flashing green with NO BOOT and second is a video of me turning off the PSU and turning it back on whilst pressing power button resulting in a succesful and normal boot.
