Hi There,
FYI: I'm a noob but I have building experience...
So Recently I built a PC (I'll add specs down below)
Everything was perfect until I wanted to change my graphics from iGPU to my MSI N560GTX Twin but the bios wouldn't save my settings that I've made so I read a couple of threads and they all said that I have to Clear CMOS... I unplugged everything, I pressed Power Button repeatedly to make sure there is no power left. Then I changed my jumper from 1-2 to 2-3 and I left it for 5 minutes. Then I started the system with my VGA cable connected to the I/O Shield iGPU to change back to my GPU but it wouldn't boot and my monitor showed no signal. ( KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN my PC was ok and it booted perfectly the power button took 1 second to shut off the system, now it takes 5-6 seconds to shut off) AND also all fans turn on and the noise and fans have the same booting sequence as when it was OK.
Things I have tried:
I tried another PSU
I tried another Monitor
I replaced BIOS Battery
I turned on with only CPU, CPU Fan, Ram and Motherboard and PSU
I've tried another GPU
I've left BIOS battery out for 10 minutes
Referred to manual
replaced bios chip
HELP!
Specs:
Intel i7 2600 3.4ghz Sandy Bridge
ASUS H61M-K
Geil 4GB DDR3 PC3
MSI N560GTX Twin-Frozr
WD Caviar Green 1TB
