A friend plugged in the wrong plug into the wrong mobo port. Pretty sure it shorted out and a (rip) small spark/gas appeared. Immediately was unplugged and the system was working fine for about a month with an 4.5 ghz overclock. Then it didn't boot. Power was working properly(case led and fans on) but the Cpu led debug was on. Reseated GPU and it worked. Then crash. same issue. Reseated RAM. Works. Then the system was turned off for the night. However, it didn't boot in the morning. The same CPU led is on, RAM light is off, no GPU light, no CPU fans on, but power is still being delivered(case fans/RGB). My question is, did the quick electrical fire short out/ damage the motherboard and cause the problem, or is there another solution? Also, if it DID damage parts, what do I need to replace? Please help anyone
