Hello everyone.
I built my first PC back in December and it has been working fine until this morning when I tried to turn it on.
The mobo standby lights come on when the PSU is switched on, but when I press the power button, the case fans and the CPU fan twitch once then nothing happens. The PSU fan is silent too.
I tried the PSU test but it didn't work, and I also removed the CMOS battery, held the power button (with the PSU unplugged), and tried starting the PC again after plugging back in. Please help.
Specs:
Intel i5
1050 Ti Nvidia
8gb RAM (single)
500W PSU EVGA
ASUS ROG STRIX B360-H Mobo

Also, the mobo doesn't beep or anything

Yes, if a connected fan does not spin, correct pins shorted on the 24 pin connector. Take into account though that a power supply failure might have damaged other components too.
Yikes, that's bad. Guess I'll have to get a new PSU then.
Please, for my components, which one do you suggest? I'm thinking of a modular one

You're welcome. I suggest trying firstly RMA-ing the power supply.
Hello again alexoiu.
I was luckily able to get another PSU. Upon setting everything up, fans and lights all work, but no POST. Also, I realized the mobo was not picking up the mouse and keyboard at all (they don't light up when connected)
I hope it's not the end of the road for the mobo :(
