Hi.

I think I accidentally uninstalled Windows 7.

A few days ago I decided to factory reset my computer, as it was running slowly. So I did just that.

After my files were deleted, it started restoring. A few minutes through that, I got an error. I do not remember what it said.

I hit OK, shut my computer down, went to bed and hoped for the best the next day.

When I booted it up, it said:

Broadcom UNDI PXE-2.1 v15.0.11

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM.
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

This is my computer:

Any help would be much appreciated.

Since you are running Windows 7 you can just download an installer disk for the same Home Premium x64 from HERE and do a clean installation then activate with your key from the sticker on your machine. I would (and always do) delete all partitions in the first step of the custom installation since they don't work anyway.

This assumes that your boot HDD has not died, if it has you will need to replace it prior to the clean install. Installing a new HDD is quite simple, but you might consider a SSD if you have to replace.

Because my computer can't connect to the internet, should I download that from another computer, stick it on a USB and download?
