No bootable divice

Dell latitude 11ok working fine. Then someone gave me a hdd put it in now no bootable device found I already had to get adm password off it the laptop was gave to me

So you put a random hard drive in your laptop, and it can't find something to boot from?
Is there even an OS on this drive?

And if there are any passwords involved here, we absolutely cannot assist with that.
