So I made a backup of my legally owned game Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005) a while back (I know, some really old games). I lost the game CD, so I had to rely on the backup ISO to install the game on my Windows 8 laptop. Since I don't have the CD, I want to GameCopyWorld to get a No-CD patch to play the game without the CD (all legal). However, when I attempt to play the game, it still asks for the CD, as if the patch didn't work. However it does work on Windows 7 with the No-CD patch (but I need it to play on Windows 8). Has anyone found a fix to this? (or at least a possible fix)
If it helps, the patch is just the executable file "speed.exe" that runs the game without the need of a CD...
