Question No data on my samsung s7

Hi all!
Thank you for taking the time to read this!

I bought google Fi phone service, and I bought a samsung galaxy s7 unlocked from amazon. The first night I got the phone everything went well, I put the SIM card in, got it activated and the phone worked fine besides it only having 1 bar. The next morning it all went down hill. First I lost the data signal. After speaking with an agent from Google Fi, we found out that the phone was not reading the SIM card. So I went out bought a new Sim, and after a little troubleshooting I got the SIM card activated on the phone again. But I still had no data signal. After trying everything the Google FI agent suggested( going from uninstalling the Google Fi app, thru taking out SIM and restarting, and everything in between) I still do not have data signal. I was told to wait for an specialist to email me.

I do not have the patience or the time to wait for an agent to start emailing me back and forth. Sos I was wondering if you guys have any ideas for me?
It would be a huge help to get this phone up and running!

According the google i site and the the google fi agent, whom I asked personally, both say a samsung s7 unlocked with verizon is compatible with google fi.
