Upgraded to a 4090 gpu from a 3090. I booted windows in safe mode. Opened DDU and selected uninstall drivers and turn pc off. Installed new 4090 and black screen. Put the 3090 back in and same issue. Tried using the cpu/motherboard display port, black screen there also.

Pc specs:
Intel 13900k
Gigabyte z790 aorus master
32gb ddr5 ram
3090- 4090 gpu

I had the same issue with an RX 480 using DDU. Never solved it. Can you connect through the MB and check in bios to see if it detects anything plugged in to PCIE? Also if you've only used Diplay Port, try with HDMI. From what I have looked up, some folk get results that way.
