No display and a pulsating orange light on Asus prime z270-p

I have recently buildt a new computer using the asus prime z270-p, asus dual gtx 1060 oc 6gb, crucial ddr4 2400mhz 2x4gb and Intel Core i3-8100 with a 500w psu. When i try to boot the system all fans on the gpu spin and the cpu fan spins, but i get no display on my monitor. I have chacked that the monitor works with another device, and i have tried using both ramsticks, one at a time, on the different sockets. I have checked all connections, and removed the gpu twice. Is it a problem with the motherboard?

You need a 300 series motherboard to support an i3-8100?

The 200 chipsets support 6xxx and 7xxx CPUs.
