Hello guys,
I recently purchased the Corsair CX550M for my PC to replace the old VS450, since I heard that GPU prices are going to come down and CX550M is a good choice for low-mid tier builds.
But after installing the new PSU, when I turned on my PC, the "EZ Debug CPU" light was glowing on my motherboard and the monitor couldn't get any display. The CPU fans and case fans were running though. I checked all connections esp. the 8 pin connecter but everything was alright.
Right away, I re-installed my old VS450 and voila, my PC was good as brand new and working like a charm.
So, is it possible that the CX550M is defective even though it is powering everything except the CPU properly? Should I get a replacement for the PSU?
PC Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 2200G
Mobo: MSI B450M Pro VDH
Memory: Crucial 4GB×2 @2400 MHz
Storage: Crucial P1 NAND 3D NVMe 500GB/
WD Blue 1 TB
PSU: Corsair CX550M (new).
Thanks a lot for the help guys. I really appreciate it.
