I just recently built my first gaming PC and im already starting to get some problems that i havent been able to fix. The problem is when i turn on the PC it doesnt show on my HDTV, all the fans turn on, the gpu fans turn on, even the motherboard turns on so i know there not broken. I figured out that it works only when the GPU is out, so do i have to update the motherboard to reconize the GPU? Or do i have to update something? Im a newb to computer stuff so i dont know what to do, please help. P.S. i have the motherboard connected by HDMI if you wanted to know. Here are the specs.

CPU: Intel i5-4670k
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming
GPU: MSI Twin Frozr Gaming GTX 770
RAM: Gskill Ripjaws X 8GB x2
Power Supply: Cooler Master 750W

Everything else isnt really neccecary to add.
I did try connecting the HDMI to the GPU and the motherboard, and it only works when the GPU is out. I know that you connect the TV to the GPU, but it works on the motherboard since it has HDMI out.
